Our partner institutions have a strong background in social sciences and business studies, our de-facto range of available material reflects this. The content structure of the site is broadly based on the JEL index, the classification of the Journal of Economic Literature.
Geographical Scope
Content from the following countries will be made available: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Russian Federation, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the USA.
Due to its wide geographical scope, Nereus aims to provide multi-lingual centralised access to the following types of resources:
Nereus provides unique full-text access to a number of free databases and resources containing working papers (pre-prints and post-prints) articles from books & journals and government publications. Economists Online is available which unlocks the full text of the output of many of Europe's top researchers.
Access to a number of large working paper resources such as RePEc, and other working paper series from both Nereus partner institutions and beyond. Information from smaller institutions are unlocked and efforts have been made to help digitise these. More working papers are available by Nereus therefore.
Access to free online databases is available via the site.
Access to the catalogues of the Nereus partner institutions covering large collections with a broad range of books, journals, theses, government publications, and statistics.
Access to key reference websites, indexed by economics information specialists.
