Information of relevance to academics, researchers and students is included based on a broad definition of the subject of Economics. Content is available both for theoretical and empirical research as well as for work on economic policy issues.

The core areas of microeconomics, economic policy, international economics and economics as they relate to business and industrial management (incl. finance) are covered by our information specialists. Special attention is given to economic issues relating to the EU.

Our partner institutions have a strong background in social sciences and business studies, our de-facto range of available material reflects this.

The content structure of the site is broadly based on the JEL index, the classification of the Journal of Economic Literature.
