Nereus Executive Board


  1. An Executive Board (EB) will be established and will consist of 7 members.
  2. The Nereus Chair and the Nereus partner hosting the Economists Online Portal (currently Tilburg) will be permanent members of the EB.
  3. The remaining five board members will be elected by the Nereus SC among its own members for a period of 2 years.
  4. The EB will meet three times a year.
  5. The EB will be responsible for overseeing the Nereus strategic plan, the working groups, and the running of the EO service. It will also manage the Consortium’s finances.
  6. The full Nereus SC will meet twice a year and focus upon strategic matters and action planning.
  7. One of the two SC meetings per year will be regarded as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and will be the only meeting of the year at which elections will take place.
  8. Minutes of the EB will be circulated to SC members and discussed at SC meetings, as will reports from the working groups.
  9. The Nereus Project Manager will act as Secretary to both the Nereus EB and the Nereus SC.
