The Economics
Collection
Combined holdings in Econometrics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and
Statistical Theory constitute approximately one quarter of the Library
total. Economics is particularly well represented among online journals and
online databases.
The collection
of economic literature at the EUI has grown steadily over the past
thirty years – guided by expert librarians and
international faculty. Today,
economists have access to a carefully-selected collection of journals, books
and economic data – and a steadily growing number of e-Books. [Read
the Collection Profile.]
Support services for economists include: a
Reference
Library for seminar support and an in-Department library help-desk.
Since 2003, the Library has issued a weekly Economics & Statistics
e-Bulletin providing updates on collection development, new acquisitions,
and how to access data from
EUI Library resources and the world wide web.
The Collection and services are used by Professors, Fellows and PhD
Candidates in the Economics Department
– and also by post-doctoral fellows working on economic-related topics in
the Max Weber Programme,
the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced
Studies and other academic departments.
An introduction to the EUI Economics Collection is given on
